Kindness, Care and Suicide Prevention Programs at Schools and Organizations

 This program promotes kindness and care by learning pro-social attitudes and build skills and strategies to safely and effectively deal with social and emotional challenges. For self-care we will create an art piece together based on our feelings today. We will create a pour paint art piece. 

This program is for all ages 6-99 years.

 We will talk about what Bullying is. Why people bully? What it does to the person who gets bullied. What you can do when you get bullied.

Bullying is never ok and together we can stop it! For self-care we will paint rocks with positive messages. These rocks will become a piece of our River of Kindness at Stephen Decatur Park. 

This program is for all ages 6-99 years.

 We will talk about statistics of suicides, warning signs and risk groups. What you can do if you see warning signs and how you can help somebody in a crisis. We will also talk about the importance of self-care.  And as a self-care project, we will create a self-portrait and write down what makes each one of us unique.

This program is for all ages 10-99 years.
