WORKSHOPS, CLASSES AND GROUPS

QPR is a nationally recognized certification program to recognize someone in a suicidal crisis and provide tools to help that person get professional care. Our QPR trained instructors offer classes to schools, professional groups, and individual groups. 

We provide presentations to specific audiences including farmers, students, veterans, and retired adults. Presentations share risk factors and warning signs unique to that demographic. 

Together we offer the one day Mental Health First Aid program to groups across the county. The program is offered to the general public, professionals, and specific groups including children, veterans, and older adults. 

Afterschool programs and in-class workshops for students in elementary through high school. We offer an anti-bullying program, kindness workshops, and mental wellness programs using creative and fun art-based activities.

Our Local Outreach to Suicide Survivors (LOSS) consists of trained volunteers who have lived experience with the loss of loved one by suicide. Become a volunteer and help a community member in need. 

Our Outreach Coordinator can be found at more than 50 community events on the Eastern Shore including health fairs, job fairs, conventions, and any event where suicide prevention information is encouraged.
